THIS THIS THIS! ✨ This feels like you all wrapped up in a post and I absolutely love that. Like if someone asks me, what's Carly like? I wanna link to this. Absolutely love your intentionality in your reach outs and connecting the dots to get where you want to go.

“I started asking, directly, for what I really wanted, becoming braver with each email.”

I love this.

I’m working through internalizing this myself. You can have whatever you want, but not before you want it enough to say it with your whole chest.

Oof I'm obsessed with that. What a great re-contextualized version of that idea.

"I found my back door. I realized I didn’t have to be the smartest or most beautiful or most talented person in the holding room, but I could be the most resourceful. I could be the one paying close enough attention to know that there had to be a different way to get where I wanted to go." very well written. This was good read with a clear and actionable insight. Thank you for writing this.

I find it hard to believe you would ever NOT be the smartest, beautiful-est, most talented person in any room you walked into.

"There had to be a window or a back door or little doggie flap I could squeeze through."

I'm not sure which I love more — your sparkly way with words or your insight. ☀️

AH! Such a great story! I really really enjoyed this inspirational and entertaining piece on how to chase the dream! We hear so much about the grind, the starvation, and the waiting. But you put life back in your hands! My favorite line is "I realized I didn’t have to be the smartest or most beautiful or most talented person in the holding room, but I could be the most resourceful. I could be the one paying close enough attention to know that there had to be a different way to get where I wanted to go." It's seriously such a smart approach that ANYONE can adopt for their goals, and in such close alignment with all of the opportunities I've graciously had in my life. Thank you for this wonderful read!

I love this post!

Simply because it shows a high-agency trait to find ways to get what we really want (in a good way).

Gonna save this as an inspiration too, thanks!
